I've been in the publishing business for 30-something years and have done a lot of writing and editing of books about everything from business principles to family life. Much of my professional work has involved helping other people write what they want to say, but all the while, I've had a good many thoughts of my own. As you sample some of those ideas here, I'll let you decide whether or not I should keep sharing them or stick with making other people's stories sound good. Along the way, I've also raised eight children—all with the same wife.
